Do you have a cold already? The flu? REALLY! We haven’t even put our flip flops away yet!! I have one word for you: HYDRATE. I have lots of words for that cold.

We each have our little remedies and potions to deal with cold and flu season, but the most important support you will need to move this thing along quickly, is lots of hydration.

Why lemons in your water? It makes the water more alkaline which is helpful for the digestive tract, creating an environment for better gut bacteria. Lemons will add more vitamin C to your drink and anti-inflammatory properties for the oil in the rinds.


Slice a whole lemon, put it into a quart size Mason Jar or glass. Fill the jar with water and sip on it all day. Add more water as the day unfolds and keep on drinking.
