WHO DOESN’T LOVE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM!!
This summer, buy yourself an ice cream maker (about $60.00), and you can have home-made ice cream any day of the week!
This Chocolate Ice Cream couldn’t be easier.
Makes 3 cups
- Cacao Powder – 1 cup
- Sugar – ¾ cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Flavors of your choice – ½ teaspoon cinnamon/allspice
- Milk – 2 cups whole milk or nut milk (and omit the cream)
- Cream – 1 cup
In a sauce pan, bring to a boil the cacao powder, sugar, spices, and water. Low boil for about 2 minutes to dissolve. Cool.
Pour cooled chocolate mixture into a mixer (or bowl with a hand mixer), add milk and cream, and blend well. Chill.
Pour into ice cream machine (pre-frozen bowl), and churn for 20 minutes.
Eat right away, or scoop balls into a chilled container, and freeze for later. So Easy!
